Pancakes for every day of the week

Different pancake flavours for every day of the week, so you never get bored.

Pancakes, pancakes errrrryday. We’d definitely eat them for every meal if we could. In a big stack. Covered in maple syrup. And butter. Surrounded by fresh fruit. Maybe some nuts.

Now no one can make pancakes like the Queen Isa Chandra Moskowitz, so we’re not even going to try. You’re best heading over to her site and using this recipe for the best damn fluffy pancakes ever. 

We’ve come up with different infusions to complement Isa’s recipe, so you’ve got different tastes for different days. Happy pancaking.  

Spiced orange pancakes

Just add:

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Zest of 1 orange

Blueberry and rosemary pancakes

Just add:

  • A punnet of blueberries
  • 1 tsp fresh chopped rosemary

Cinnamon and raisin pancakes

Just add:

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup raisins

Lemon and poppyseed pancakes

Just add:

  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice ½ lemon (remove 2 tbsp milk from original recipe)

Double chocolate pancakes

Just add:

  • 100g dark chocolate drops/chopped dark chocolate
  • 100g cocoa (remove 100g plain flour from the original recipe)

Peanut butter cup pancakes

Use the double chocolate pancake recipe above but when you add a pancake to the pan, place a dollop of peanut butter on the top and another small scoop of pancake mix over the top.

Ginger and dark chocolate pancakes

Just add:

  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 inch grated ginger or 100g chopped crystallised ginger
  • 100g dark chocolate drops/chopped dark chocolate
